Skills Ladder

This contract is funded through LDA/ESF Programme. This year we will support 250 employed adults in the Health and Social Care sector to improve their Skills for Life and IT competency. The programme lasts for up to 26 weeks and is delivered primarily on employer premises, although some learners may choose to access provision in one of our learning centres. The programme is flexible in nature to meet the needs of the individual and the business. We have designed specific learning materials that support the language development requirements of the business alongside that of the learner. Train to Gain

This provision is funded through the LSC and we use it to support learners achieving a first vocational qualification at Level 2. We work with a range of organisations in various occupational sectors. We deliver qualifications in Business Administration and IT, alongside embedded delivery of Skills for Life where necessary. In addition, we offer standalone Skills for Life delivery where the business has identified this as a priority. We support up to 300 learners per annum on this programme. The learning lasts on average for 16 weeks and is delivered on employer premises the majority of the time. Employers can choose to send learners to one of our centres if they feel that this is the most appropriate delivery methodology for their business.
